To better illustrate it explores the life and works of one of these librarians, Mirza Mohammad Moghim-e-Ketabdar, who lived under Shah Abbas the Great. Method: a descriptive analysis of library materials was performed. Findings: In past librarians enjoyed a high station and reputation due to their high scholarly capabilities.
