		<Abstract>One of the characteristics of the networking community is the development of &#039;social and messenger&#039; networks, including the functions of these networks, knowledge and information management. The present article aims to answer the question of how well the students of Tehran&#039;s top universities as community elites have been able to use the aforementioned networks for this purpose. Abroad, which has focused on the extent of online student interest in knowledge management, has focused on how students from top universities in Tehran use these networks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A random sampling method was used among the students of Tehran University of Excellence based on the ranking of the Islamic World Science Citation Database to provide a description of the current situation. In-depth interviews were used to delve deeper into the findings and provide policy-making strategies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While 50.5% of students believe that these networks have become part of their daily lives, the majority of students are simply content consumers with political content preferences. Most content related to the lessons is simply following the news of the classes. According to indicators set to measure the extent to which students use these networks for knowledge management, 5% of students do not use these networks for knowledge management at all. 3% use low and very small amounts, 15.5% use very high and 28.4% use some of these networks for knowledge management. Policy research strategies for modifying the pattern of use of these networks are suggested below.</Abstract>
