		<Abstract>Objective: The present research attempts to identify the link between ICT utilization by faculty members and their academic performance in the
Faculty of Psychology and Education of Tehran University
Methodology: A survey was carried out. Sample was the total number of faculty members at Faculty of Psychology and Education (10 women and 43 men).
Findings: There is an average level of ICT utilization by the faculty members. Educational Performance was at a desired level and no significant differences were found among educational.

		<Abstract>Objective: The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and library anxiety among students of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and Persian Gulf University. &lt;br /&gt;Methodology: In this descriptive study which is of correlation type, a total of 700 students of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and the Persian Gulf University were selected through Stratified random sampling. Data was collected by using normalized Questionnaire of Siberia Shrink&#039;s Emotional Intelligence and Localized Questionnaire of Bostick library anxiety and analyzed using SPSS. &lt;br /&gt;Findings: there was a significant inverse correlation between emotional intelligence and library anxiety of students (r = -0.41). This result was in Bushehr University of Medical Sciences (r = -0.39) and in Persian Gulf University (r = -0.43). Also except of the component of self-motivation there was a significant inverse relationship between the components of emotional intelligence and library anxiety. Regarding the research findings showing significant relationship between emotional intelligence and library anxiety, it seems that considering Emotional intelligence in order to reduce the anxiety level of students using the library, which Results in better productivity at library, could be effective. So, it is proposed that authorities, library managers and librarians –in cooperation with each other- promote communication skills and emotional intelligence skills by holding specialized courses.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Purpose: to explore cultural, social and political factors influencing publishing economy in Iran from publishers’ points of view so as to identify gaps, problems and strategies in development of publishing economy.&lt;br /&gt;Methodology: Survey approach has been used to study the viewpoints of the publishers. Statistical population of the research is comprised of 264 private-sector publishers from which 98 publishers were selected by a systematic stratified sampling method. A researcher made questionnaire was used to gather the information and the data gathered was analyzed by Friedman test.&lt;br /&gt;Findings: The following have been attained from publishers’ points of view: increase in the number of literate people has the most positive impact and the economic poverty has the most negative impact on book publishing. In the area of book request, information broadcasting about the books through press and improved distribution of the books has the most positive impact and increasing number of workless people has the most negative impact. &lt;br /&gt;Conclusion: the study of cultural, social and political factors related to request and supply of books indicates that the publishers evaluate them positively. Publishers also evaluate helpful the administrative and supportive plans of the government and asses the censorship as the main problem. The first and second hypotheses of the research namely “positive impact of cultural, social and political factors on request and supply of books” and the third hypotheses namely “the positive impact of government’s policy in improving the economy of publishing” are approved with 99 percent of assurance.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Purpose: In order to draw a national mechanism for popularization of science (PS) in the country, the aim of this research is determining the occasion to PS and determining how the awards donating to.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Methodology: For this target, a national survey involving 60 special participants who were working individually or as administrators was proposed. Data were collected and analyzed by using a mixed method survey. Participants were identified through targeted and then snowball sampling&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Findings: The findings revealed that “Defining a Week for PS” and “Donating Awards at the national level” have got highest ranks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Originality: Until now, a research for Identifying and evaluating the best and most effective approach to popularization of science (PS) events and awards has not been done in the country.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Objective: Assessing and comprising the level of information seeking competencies of Post graduate students in Faculty of Agriculture of Tarbiat Modares University and College of Agriculture of University of Tehran in terms of access, evaluate, and determining the nature of the information &lt;br /&gt;Method: A survey was used to collect information from a questionnaire based on ACRL standards. &lt;br /&gt;Results: The amount of information seeking skills of post graduate students in Faculty of Agriculture University of Tarbiat Modares is 2.96 and in College of Agriculture of University of Tehran is 2.80. T test was used to test the first hypothesis, which showed according to the results of previous similar research (2.58) information seeking skills of both are desirable. The Mann-Whitney U test revealed significant differences between the skills of these two faculties.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Objective: The aim of this paper is the investigating the level of knowledge management in Mazandaran university by linear structural relationship analysis (LISREL).
Methodology: The study population includes all the members of department of Mazandaran University. Employing a classified random sampling, the data was collected through the distribution of a questionnaire among the 142 persons of the academic staffs of Mazandaran University. SPSS16.0 and LISREL8.5 is used for statistical analysis.
