The preseat study has tried to analyse the content of notes exist ant in the 6 to 12 century manuscripts, in the Collection of seyed Mohammad Meshkat at the Central library of Tehran University.
The purpos of this investigation is to study the characterestics of these notes. This is achieved by studying the titles, subject matters and contents of the notes Among the findings of this investigation is the identification of some 450 notes in the begin and ending pages of 183 MSS.
The method employed in this study includes analysis and description of contents and subject matter of notes; hence categorization and assessment has been employed.
