Abstract

Instruction of search principles and information searching skills is one of the main goal of information science education. There are various ways
in which electronic information resources can be made available to the researcher. In order to carry out a search for any kind of data, it is
necessary to follow a serie of steps, typically called the search process. It involves interaction among a number of sub-processes: problem
recognition, search system selection, query conceptualization, query formulation, searching data, examination of results, and itercation of
some or all of these sub-processes if the results suggests this is necessary.
