The review seeks to introduce the contents of the book and in the course of doing so, while commenting upon the quality of translation, points out some errors, which have most probably crept into it during the course of printing. The book has a two fold importance. Firstly, it is an interesting reading for linguists and those fond of the literatures and scripts of different countries of the world. Secondly, it can be useful as a work of reference for cataloguers, librarians and the students of library and information sciences.
