Abstract

The article deals with the Jam-i-Jahan Numa, a travelogue of South Asia, written by Maulana Muhammad bin Muhammad Sadiq, pen-named Khata, of Shustar and seeks to introduce a manuscript of it preserved in the Central Library of the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in Pakistan. The table of contents provided by the author in the article throws significant on the contents of the book which includes information on such subjects through development of various modern European sciences in the South Asian Subcontinent.
