belieI' ,Iystematization of librmy collections, is the natoinal bibliographic network. Iran lacks this network, but the means of data transmission
within this network, that is, IranMARC is being finalized at the National Lilmll}' of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The necessity for standarclizaio!l
of cataloging for better implementation of IranMARC is discussed in this article, the fact that then contributes to a much more systematic providing
of info/711ation.
