As a fact, Tabriz after Tehran, as the center of Azarbayejan, has been the mainpoint of social and historical events in the last two centuries. There has been published most of the Iranian newspapers in this region compare with other part of the country. The present paper is a historical
review of Azarbayejanian newspaper covering period of 1851-2001 (1230-1380)", At first definitions of Azarbayejan region, newspaper
specifications and historical reviewing purposes are given. Then 7 analytical charts in the period of 150 years are provided, according to: the
kinds of printing, language, publishing data, location of publishing,
frequency of publishing and to the selected subjects.
