The World Wide Web(WWW) has revolutionized the way that people access information, and has opened up new possibilities in areas such as
digital libraries, general and scientific information, dissemination and retrieval of information, education, commerce, entertainment, government,
and health care. This paper provides guidelines in the area of locating scientific information. Emphasis is put on tools that are capable of searching the Web. A number of Web sites addresses which are good
