Knowledge society as a space originated from promotion of the (explicit/Implicit) social knowledge, and information society as a space to have access to information are two societies complete each other. Libraries (in a vast meaning), because of their efforts to collect and store the produced knowledge, contribute in promoting the knowledge society; and as spaces make the information access able for people, promote the information society. Therefore, the quantity, the quality, and the activities of libraries in a society may be considered as the clear signs of so-called knowledge and/or information societies. It may be claimed that investment for activating libraries is, in fact, investment for promoting knowledge and information societies
