The purpose of the present study is to explore the impact of new coming terms on the structure of the recent editions thesauri compared to the previous ones. The case of this research is the 14th and 13th editions of ERIC Thesaurus. The findings' indicate that the new terms affect the structure of thesaurus in terms of omission, change, or addition of the terms interrelations. But the highest Impact occurs on the hierarchical relations. The final results show that there can be found no correlation between the quantity and complexity of the changes occurred.
