The purpose of the present study is to explore the information seeking behavior patterns among mine engineering graduates studying in Tehran University. Findings indicate that out of 2515 documents cited in [16 Master theses, books(with 59.33%) had the highest rank of citation, English sources, compared with Persian, have been 57.7%. The half life of paper collections calculated as more than seven years and the other sources a little more than six years.
