All Persian poets have by and large been familiar with the Arabic language and the traces of this familiarity of theirs with Arabic can be seen in their poetical compositions. The present work is a collection of more frequently met with Arabic expressions in Persian poetry with their Persian translation. The article reviews the book and points out the errors found in the section of the book dealing with the Arabic expressions beginning with the letter Alif.
