Abstract

Gandhi Memorial Library was founded in 1942 to preserve and
develope Indian languages. The Library was presided over by Captain
Pirin Bin and based in Mombay. There are a number of Persian manuscripts held in this library. Some of these are of great value. There
is, for instance, a Poetical work of a poet named Otaredi who probably
lived in Seljuq era. No copy of this work is available in other libraries.
This paper presents a list of Persian manuscripts held in that library.
