Kermanshah In this study, The purpose is to evaluate and explain the collection of university libraries in Kermanshah city, and compare current condition with Standards for Iranian University Libraries. The study was done through survey and observation . Condition of collection, number of students, and academic staff in 12 university libraries in Kermanshah was studied. After that we compare this data with Standards for Iranian University Libraries. For data gathening we used questionnaire as well as direct observation. According to the standards, the sources in academic libraries in Kermanshah should he 1615700 volumes, while the number of sources in these libraries is 283566 volumes (18% of the standard) that indicate a big shortage of sources.
