This article is the translation of chapter five of the part (Theology) from the first volume of "the history of Arabic writings" by Foad sezkin in German. Regarded sources to 430 H are reviewed. The part entitled theology has two chapters.
The first chapter contains the biographies and works at 22 of the Foghihs and norrators.
This chapter has been published in previous issue of this periodical. The second chapter contains the biographies and works of 24 of the great persons of Motazelah, that is published in
this issue.
The text is arranged chronologicaly by subject. In each chapter, after the introduction, the writer's biography is arranged with emphasis on this scientific life, his opinions and his ideas.
Then, in a seprate division, the old refernces and what is written about the writer and his works are introduced. The last division tells us about the present manuscripts of each work, its summaries, translations, criticisms and interpretations.
