Proverbs are one of the most valuable cultural heritage of each nation, and the reflections of its literature, language, thoughts, feelings,
opinions, and social - moral values. That is why the muslim researchers have tried to collect them and leaves monumental collections of
proverbs. Unfortunately some of them hav_ been missing or forgotten in the course of time. As there is no list of books of proverbs yet, The
writer searched 'these valuable collection and has found 200 books of proverbs in Arabic. Although tremendous time and energy was spent on
this work, one could not say that it is complete, because finding all the books written in the subject is impossible furthermore, new books may
emerge from world libraries in future.
