The article deals with six important points namely, good books enjoy the largest readership; good books are meant for general public and not for a specific section of readers; good books are always in demand; an efficient reader attaches utmost importance to good books; good books are also the most instructive and most interesting ones and the good books are those which focus on the most intricate human problems and guide the librarians as how to identify such books and to place them at the disposal of relevant readers.
