بررسی کمی وضعیت تولید اطلاعات علمی توسط اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه شاهد در نمایه‏های غیر استنادی

چکیده

هدف: هدف این پژوهش، بررسی کمی وضعیت تولیدات علمی توسط اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه شاهد در پایگاه‏‏‏‏‏‏های تخصصی غیر استنادی از سال 2000 تا پایان سال 2008 میلادی است.
روش: این پژوهش با استفاده از روش کتابخانه‏ای انجام شد و از نوع کاربردی است. پایگاه‏های اطلاعاتی غیراستنادی منبع اصلی اطلاعات تحقیق بودند و بخش اعظم اطلاعات نیز از طریق جستجو به دست آمده است. پایگاه‏های مورد تحقیق عبارتند از: ACS, AIP,CAB, Compendex, Computer Source, Econlit, LISA, Medline, Sport Discus.
یافته‏ها: نتایج نشان داد که روند تولید اطلاعات علمی دانشگاه شاهد در نمایه‏های غیر استنادی بین‏المللی در سال‏های اخیر، رشد قابل ملاحظه‏ای داشته و از 3 تولید علمی در سال 2000 به 44 مورد در سال 2008 رسیده است. کل تولیدات اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه شاهد در پایگاه‏های تخصصی بررسی شده 126 مورد و بیشترین آن در پایگاه Medline (06/42 درصد) و کم‌ترین آن در پایگاه تخصصی Sport Discus (59/1 درصد) بوده است. نتایج نشان می‏دهدکه تولیدات علمی در حوزه علوم پزشکی بیشترین (06/42 درصد) مقدار را به خود اختصاص داده است و کم‌ترین تولیدات علمی در حوزه هنر بوده است. 89/88 تولیدات علمی بین‏المللی به زبان انگلیسی و 11/11 درصد به زبان فارسی بوده است.

Quantitative review of scientific output by faculty members of Shahid University as reflected in non-citation indexes

Objective The purpose of this research is to study the research performance and the scientific publications by Shahid University’s faculty members for the 2000-2008 periods.
Methodology The study was limited to the following international non-citation databases: ACS, AIP, CAB, Compendex, Computer Source, Econlit, LISA, Medline, and Sport Discus. 126 scientific publications with affiliation to Shahid University were retrieved.
Findings: result showed that the number of scientific publications had increased from 3 items in 2000 to 44 items in 2008. Although the results showed that the number of scientific productions has significantly increased in recent years, however, 126 scientific publications do not present high scientific performance by faculty members in international databases. The highest number of scientific publications was found in the field of Medical Sciences (42.06 percent). The second subject was Agricultural Sciences (24.60 percent) and the third and forth subject are Technology & Engineering (13.5 percent) and Humanities (12.7 percent). Also, the findings present that 88.89 percent of scientific publications were in English and 11.11 percent were in Persian
