مشاغل نوین مبتنی بر فناوری‌های اطلاعات برای فارغ‌التحصیلان علوم اطلاعات و دانش‌شناسی در عصر حاضر

چکیده

هدف: هدف اصلی پژوهش حاضر بررسی تأثیر فناوری‌های اطلاعات بر فرصت‌های شغلی نوین کتابداری و اطلاع‌رسانی و تحلیل محتوای آگهی‌های استخدام است.
روش‌شناسی:رویکرد این پژوهش کیفی و روش آن تحلیل محتواست. در نمونه‌گیری هدفمند 276 آگهی استخدام منتشر شده در سایت کاریابی indeed (در شش ماه اول سال 2013) واز کشورهای کانادا و آمریکا انتخاب و تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: از 267 آگهی استخدام کتابداریِ مبتنی بر فناوری اطلاعات، 95 پست سازمانی و شغل نوین شناسایی شد. یافته‌ها نشان داد که چهار گروه شغلی "کتابدار سیستم‌ها"، "کتابدار متاداده"، "کتابدار منابع الکترونیکی" و "کتابدار وب"، سه چهارم آگهی‌های استخدام را به‌خود اختصاص داده‌اند. در 71 درصد از آگهی‌های استخدام نیز، داشتن مدرک کارشناسی ارشد مورد تأیید انجمن کتابداران آمریکا یا معادل آن برای استخدام لازم دانسته شده است. تحلیل سرفصل‌های دورۀ کارشناسی علم اطلاعات و دانش‌شناسی نشان داد، واحدهای درسی مبتنی بر فناوری اطلاعات برای تربیت کتابدار در سرفصل جدید وزارت علوم (مصوب 1388)، در مجموع به ارزش 18 واحد (14 درصد) هستند.

Modern information technology-based Librarian jobs for LIS graduates: a content analysis of job advertisements

Objective: This study examines the impact of information technologies on new library and information science job opportunities and the content analysis of LIS job advertisements.
Methodology: The approach of the current research is qualitative and its methodology is content analysis. In a purposeful sampling, 276 published job advertisements from USA and Canada in first 6 month of 2013 in indeed.com job searching website were selected and analyzed.
Findings: 95 new jobs detected from 276 job advertisements related to positions of information technology areas.
Findings showed that totally, four job types of “Systems librarian”, “Metadata librarian”, “E-Resources Librarian” and “Web librarian” were gained three quarters of job advertisements. In 71 percent job advertisements, it was nescessary for the applicants to have a master degree (Library Science, Information Science, Library and Information Science) or an equivalent degree accredited by American Library Association (ALA).
The analysis of syllabus approved by “Ministry of Science, Research and Technology” for educating librarian shows that only 18 credits of the syllabus are IT Competency-based.
