استنادگرها: تولید کتابشناسی برای نسل آینده

چکیده

کتابداران بارها در مورد شکل‌های خاص استناد مورد مشورت قرار می‌گیرند و استفاده از برنامه‌های کامپیوتری سازماندهی استناد کتابشناختی شخصی، مانند اندنوت (EndNote)، را که اغلب مورد استفاده اعضای هیأت علمی و دانشجویان است، مورد تأیید قرار می‌دهند. امروزه ابزارهای اینترنتی رایگان و یا ارزان قیمتی گسترش یافته که به ساختن استناد و تنظیم کتابشناسی‌ها می‌پردازند. بررسی استنادهای تولیدشده بوسیله این برنامه‌ها نشان می‌دهد که این برنامه‌ها مانند EndNote برای دانشجویان مفید واقع شده، اما برای استفاده بهینه از این برنامه‌ها، آگاهی از اشکال خاص استناد ضروری است.

Librarians are frequently consulted about proper citation formats and support the use of PC-based personal bibliographic citation management programs, such as EndNote, often used by faculty and graduate students. Recently, free or inexpensive Web-based tools have been developed that create citations and format bibliographies. An analysis of citations generated by these programs shows that they are as accurate as End Note and offer some advantages to undergraduates, but that some knowledge of proper citation formats in necessary to use these programs effectively.
